For Dinner the whole family gets together and eats which is considered as important. One can dress casually exept special occasions. Like you might have heard smoking is banned in public places.

The shopping capital of Ireland is Belfast, the value added tax is 17% but it can be reclaimed later. In restaurants check the bill, if it does not include a service tax leave a tip of about 10%, giving a tip to porters and hair dressers is also customary here.

Getting There

Aer Lingus is the national airline operating here, providing connection to most of the major cities of the world. Many other airlines have been introduced and to promote them, promotional air fares are being offered. Checking out such offers before booking will save you money.

The Dublin airport is only 10km away from the city and provides services like taxis, air coach buses transport passengers to their destination. It also offers duty free shops, bank, currency exchange, car hire, tourism information and restaurants for a comfortable journey.

In the north of Limerick 24 km away from the city there also is the Shannon Airport. For transportation buses, coaches and taxis are available and it takes about 25 minutes to get to the city from the airport. 2. 1l of spirits and distilled beverages (more than 22 per cent) or 2l of other alcoholic beverages with an alcoholic strength not exceeding 22 per cent, including sparkling or fortified wine, plus 2l of table wine
3. 50g of perfume and 250ml of eau de toilette

The carrier should be above 17 years of age. Sharp objects, explosives, firearms, food or agricultural items and hay or straw should be brought along as they are strictly prohibited.
